     Celia C. Spraggins was born in 1841 at Alabama. She was the daughter of Orsamus Spraggins. Celia C. Spraggins married A. L. Talton, son of Cpl. Joel J. Talton and Julia M. Dukes, on 30 Jun 1860 at Tallapoosa Co, Alabama.

     Sarah Emily Talton was born on 14 May 1843 at Alabama. She was the daughter of Cpl. Joel J. Talton and Julia M. Dukes. Sarah Emily Talton married George Jefferson "Jeff" Pate on 10 Feb 1861 at Tallapoosa Co, Alabama. Sarah Emily Talton died in Sep 1918 at San Augustine, San Augustine Co, Texas, at age 75. She was buried at Attoyac Cemetery, San Augustine Co, Texas.

      In 1870 Sarah Emily Talton and her husband George Pate were living in Alabama; in 1880 they were living in Claiborne Parish, LA; by 1900 she was widowed and listed as S. Emily Pate living with her son Josiah; in 1910 widowed and living with son Thomas; in 1920 living with Timothy Wall and wife Julia (Sarah Emily is listed as "Mother" to head of household Timothy but most likely she was Julia's mother, mother-in-law to Timothy).

Two people are listed at Find-a-Grave: Emily Pate, 1843-1920 (headstone), and Sarah Emily Talton Pate, 1844-1918, however Sarah Emily's date of death would be 1920, not 1918, as she was alive for the 1820 census.

     George Jefferson "Jeff" Pate was born a 1836. He married Sarah Emily Talton, daughter of Cpl. Joel J. Talton and Julia M. Dukes, on 10 Feb 1861 at Tallapoosa Co, Alabama. George Jefferson "Jeff" Pate died b 1900 at San Antonio, Texas.

     Newton Buchanan Talton was born c 1837 at Clarke Co, Alabama. He was the son of Cpl. Joel J. Talton and Julia M. Dukes. Newton Buchanan Talton married Victorianna "Victoria" Youngblood, daughter of John Youngblood and Susan (Unknown), on 31 Jul 1859. Newton Buchanan Talton died on 24 Aug 1862 at Augusta Co, Virginia. He was buried at Thornrose Cemetery, Staunton, Augusta Co, Virginia.

      Newton B. Talton was employed as a day laborer in 1860 for John Youngblood, a 44 year-old mechanic. During the Civil War Newton served with his brother Joseph Jasper in
Company B, 47th Regiment, Tallapoosa Light Infantry, Alabama Infantry was killed at the battle of Cedar Run.

     Victorianna "Victoria" Youngblood was born c 1841 at Alabama. She was the daughter of John Youngblood and Susan (Unknown). Victorianna "Victoria" Youngblood married Newton Buchanan Talton, son of Cpl. Joel J. Talton and Julia M. Dukes, on 31 Jul 1859.

     Isaac Vestal was born c 1777 at Surry Co, North Carolina. He married Julia M. Dukes, daughter of Elias Duke and Emily "Milly" Francis Elkins, on 15 Feb 1857 at Tallapoosa Co, Alabama. Isaac Vestal died in Aug 1866 at Boone Co, Missouri.

      In 1830 the Isaac Vetol and his wife age 50-59 were living in Surry Co, NC. If, and it is a big if, all of Isaac's male household members are sons, all survived to adulthood and all moved with Isaac to Campbell Co, GA and then Tallapoosa Co, AL in addition to his sons noted in the 1850 census, Isaac had three sons who could have potentially married Julia Dukes Talton Carlton instead of Isaac himself. In 1830 in his household there were with 2 males 5-9 [one of these is the unknown 15-19 year old son in the 1840 household and the other son is unknown]; 1 male 10-14 and 1 male 15-19 [likely Longinus, the unknown male from the 1840 census]; 1 male 20-29 [likely Jesse], 1 female age 10-14, and 1 female age 15-19 [the latter 2 females were gone by 1840].

In 1840 Isaac Vestal was enumerated as age living in Campbell Co, GA with his wife, both age 50-59, with an unknown male age 15-19, 2 males 20-29 [Longinus and an unknown male], 1 male 30-39 [Jesse] and 2 unknown females age 5-9; one person age 14-24 was reported deaf and dumb.

In 1850 Isaac Vestall was shown as age 71, born in NC, living in Campbell Co, GA with his wife Elizabeth age 68, Jesse Vestall age 49, Longinus Vestall age 30, Luddy A. Vestall age 15 and Elizabeth A. Vestall age 15. In 1855 Isaac is noted on the Tallapoosa Co, AL census and a W. A. Vestall is noted in a separate household there. By 1860 Isaac's household is down to himself (age 83), Jessie (age 60), and Lungano (age 40, noted as an idiot).

     John Youngblood was born a 1815 at Georgia. He married Susan (Unknown) a 1840.

      John Youngblood worked as a mechanic.

     Susan (Unknown) was born a 1820 at Georgia. She married John Youngblood a 1840.

     Joe Winslett was born a 1844. He was the son of Floyd Winslett and Rebecca Eley / Ely.

     Elizabeth 'Eliza' B. Copeland was born a 1811. She married William 'Buck' Winslett II, son of William Winslett I and Margaritte 'Peggy' Woods, on 3 May 1831 at Greene Co, Georgia.

     Mary E. Winslett was born c 1862. She was the daughter of John 'Jawbone' Wesley Winslett and Lousia Fagle.

     (Unknown) Cunningham was born a 1830. He married Lousia Fagle a 1855.

     Hans Jacob Schaaf was born on 23 Sep 1677 at Mundelsheim, Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. He was the son of Hans Erhardt Schaaf I and Anna Maria Strenger. Hans Jacob Schaaf died on 18 May 1733 at Mundelsheim, Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wuerttemberg, at age 55.

     Johannes Schaaf was born on 6 Feb 1679 at Mundelsheim, Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. He was the son of Hans Erhardt Schaaf I and Anna Maria Strenger. Johannes Schaaf died on 14 Oct 1753 at Mundelsheim, Ludwigsburg, Baden-Wuerttemberg, at age 74.
