     Jimmie Rutherford was born on 1 Apr 1880 at Texas. She married William Uriah Stanley, son of Richard Bledsoe Stanley and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, in 1899. Jimmie Rutherford died on 4 Jan 1951 at Dallas, Collin Co, Texas, at age 70.

     Richard Kirkland Stanley was born on 1 Jan 1875 at Mount Vernon, Kentucky. He was the son of Richard Bledsoe Stanley and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley. Richard Kirkland Stanley married Effie Estella Phillips in 1895. Richard Kirkland Stanley married Gracie Lorane Moseley c 1931. Richard Kirkland Stanley died on 11 Aug 1953 at McKinney, Collin Co, Texas, at age 78.

     Effie Estella Phillips was born on 20 Oct 1879 at Farmington, Saint Francis Co, Missouri. She married Richard Kirkland Stanley, son of Richard Bledsoe Stanley and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, in 1895. Effie Estella Phillips died on 23 Jun 1943 at McKinney, Collin Co, Texas, at age 63.

     Gracie Lorane Moseley was born on 4 Aug 1914 at Texas. She married Richard Kirkland Stanley, son of Richard Bledsoe Stanley and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, c 1931. Gracie Lorane Moseley died on 12 Feb 2011 at age 96.

     Anna Cecil Adams was born on 29 Nov 1884 at Texas. She was the daughter of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley. Anna Cecil Adams married James Edgar Allen in 1902. Anna Cecil Adams died on 18 Jun 1969 at Farmersville, Collin Co, Texas, at age 84.

     Emma Olive Adams was born on 19 Dec 1888 at Texas. She was the daughter of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley. Emma Olive Adams married John Gadberry a 1908. Emma Olive Adams died on 3 Jan 1977 at Brownfield, Terry Co, Texas, at age 88.

     John Gadberry was born a 1883. He married Emma Olive Adams, daughter of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, a 1908.

     James Edgar Allen was born a 1877. He married Anna Cecil Adams, daughter of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, in 1902.

     Forrest Talmage Adams was born on 30 Apr 1891 at Van Alstyne, Grayson Co, Texas. He was the son of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley. Forrest Talmage Adams married Rosa Mae Auten on 13 Jan 1915. Forrest Talmage Adams died on 7 Jun 1974 at Grover Beach, San Luis Obispo Co, California, at age 83.

     Rosa Mae Auten was born a 1895. She married Forrest Talmage Adams, son of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, on 13 Jan 1915.

     Thomas Marion Adams was born on 15 Mar 1896 at Collin Co, Texas. He was the son of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley. Thomas Marion Adams married Vertie Leora Rodgers in 1921 at Texas. Thomas Marion Adams died on 8 Aug 1980 at Bowie, Montague Co, Texas, at age 84.

     Vertie Leora Rodgers was born a 1901. She married Thomas Marion Adams, son of SGT Theodore Hugh Adams and Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, in 1921 at Texas.

     William Stanley was born c 1806 at Johnston Co, North Carolina. He married Ida Frances Madrin on 16 Apr 1827. William Stanley died on 3 Jun 1888 at Union Co, Tennessee. He was buried at Stanley Family Cemetery, Union Co, Tennessee.

      In 1840 a William Stanley, age 30 to 39, lived in Johnston Co, NC with a family of six; two were engaged in farming; this could be our ancestor, although there were other William Stanleys in the county.

In 1850 William and his wife Frances had eight children living in at home; he was farming his real estate valued at 500. By 1860 William and Frances were living in Raccoon Valley, Union Co, TN with five children at home. He was farming and his economic situation had considerably improved as his real estate was valued at 2000 and his personal property at 1000. His son John Haywood Stanley was noted as a farm hand and had personal property valued at 500. His son Callaway was also noted as a farm hand. His son Richard, age 18, is not living at home, however there is a Richard Stanley age 18 living in the household of an apparent widow Rebecca Waggner who has young children, so he may have moved in with a relative.

     Jane Jennie Stanley was born on 22 Nov 1827 at Tennessee. She was the daughter of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin. Jane Jennie Stanley married Joseph McHaffie on 23 Dec 1851 at Knox Co, Tennessee. Jane Jennie Stanley died on 2 Dec 1909 at Maynardville, Union Co, Tennessee, at age 82.

     Joseph McHaffie was born in 1831. He married Jane Jennie Stanley, daughter of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin, on 23 Dec 1851 at Knox Co, Tennessee.

     Nancy Stanley was born in 1832 at Knox Co, Tennessee. She was the daughter of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin. Nancy Stanley married Samuel Warwick a 1852.

     Leona Caroline Stanley was born on 11 Jul 1834 at Knoxville, Knox Co, Tennessee. She was the daughter of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin. Leona Caroline Stanley married Solomon Irick II on 23 Jan 1851 at Knox Co, Tennessee. Leona Caroline Stanley died on 26 Jul 1879 at Fannin Co, Texas, at age 45.

     Solomon Irick II was born in 1830. He married Leona Caroline Stanley, daughter of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin, on 23 Jan 1851 at Knox Co, Tennessee. Solomon Irick II died in 1916.

     John Haywood Stanley was born on 23 Jul 1836 at Tennessee. He was the son of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin. John Haywood Stanley married Mary Ann "Polly" Davis in 1862. John Haywood Stanley married Mary M. Irwin in 1905 at Union Co, Tennessee. John Haywood Stanley died on 28 Jul 1915 at Maynardville, Union Co, Tennessee, at age 79.

      John Haywood Stanley served as an officer in the Union Forces during the Civil War.

     Mary Ann "Polly" Davis was born in 1841. She married John Haywood Stanley, son of William Stanley and Ida Frances Madrin, in 1862. Mary Ann "Polly" Davis died in 1904.
