     Pleasant Southall was born on 1 Mar 1795. He was the son of Henry H. Southall and Elizabeth "Betsy" Holdsworth.

     Ann C. Southall was born on 20 Jul 1807. She was the daughter of Henry H. Southall and Elizabeth "Betsy" Holdsworth.

      Ann C. Southall from the Southall-Holdsworth bible may be the same person as Nancy L. Southall in the estate settlement but that would leave a significant gap in births in this family.

     Peter Talbot was born a 1688. He married Sarah Haley c 1715. His estate was probated in Apr 1742 at Charles City Co, Virginia.

     Sally C. Gentry was born c 1835. She married Henry M. Southall, son of Furnea C. Southall (of Henry) and Sarah M. (Unknown), on 10 Apr 1857 at Charles City Co, Virginia.

     CPT Turner Southall was born c 1758. He was the son of Philip Southall and Elizabeth 'Betty' (Unknown). CPT Turner Southall was buried at Charles City Co, Virginia.

      Capt Turner may be the Turner who married a Ms. Barrett. Our ancestor Rebecca Hunt Southall stated that she had a cousin Polly Barrett. In addition, because of replicated naming conventions our Turner Southall was likely related to this line of Capt. Turner Southall (born ~1758).

The 1810 Charles City Co, VA census enumerated two Turner Southalls living near each other; as yet their relationship is unknown but because of the repetition of family names they were likely related but not as father and son. Given that both Turner Southalls were slave owners and men farming a lot of land often had or used slaves, it is interesting neither Turner appeared on the 1800 Charles City Co Tax List.

One Turner Southall household had a male age 26 to 44 (Turner), one female age 16 to 25 (his wife), 1 male and 3 females under under age 10, and five slaves. The other Turner Southall household in the census has Turner age 26 to 44 living with one female age 26 to 44 (likely his wife), one male and one female between 16 and 25, two females under 10, and six slaves.

     Unknown Southall was born a 1740. He married Sarah Talbot Southall, daughter of James Southall (of Milton) and Tabitha Talbot, a 1763.

     James Ellis was born c 1831 at Virginia. He was the son of Samuel Ellis and Mary C. Southall.

     Mary E. Ellis was born c 1834 at Virginia. She was the daughter of Samuel Ellis and Mary C. Southall.

     Martha C. Ellis was born c 1837 at Virginia. She was the daughter of Samuel Ellis and Mary C. Southall.

     Virginia Ellis was born c 1839 at Virginia. He was the son of Samuel Ellis and Mary C. Southall.

     Elizabeth B. Ellis was born c 1842 at Virginia. She was the daughter of Samuel Ellis and Mary C. Southall.
