     Thomas Louis Duke was born on 5 Dec 1858 at Alabama. He was the son of James Henry Duke and Ann Elizabeth Clarke. Thomas Louis Duke married Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley on 28 Oct 1883 at 'Kelley Home', Clarke Co, Alabama. Thomas Louis Duke died on 3 Aug 1886 at age 27.

      According to family tradition, Thomas Louis contracted rabies and became aware of his affliction. He instructed his family to chain him to a tree near the corn crib. He also told warned them to not touch him after his death, but roll his body up in the mattress he used and bury it. He is buried on the homeplace beside his father. His daughter Tommie Lou was born three months after his death and named after him.

     Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley was born on 21 Sep 1863 at Clarke Co, Alabama. She married Thomas Louis Duke, son of James Henry Duke and Ann Elizabeth Clarke, on 28 Oct 1883 at 'Kelley Home', Clarke Co, Alabama. Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley died on 24 Jan 1910 at age 46. She was buried at Thomasville, Clarke Co, Alabama.

     Henry Frank Duke was born on 14 Aug 1884 at Alabama. He was the son of Thomas Louis Duke and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley. Henry Frank Duke married Luetta Waddill, daughter of William Edward Waddill and Euretha Mariah Walker, on 10 Feb 1909 at Pleasant Hill, Clarke Co, Alabama.

     Luetta Waddill was born in 1892. She was the daughter of William Edward Waddill and Euretha Mariah Walker. Luetta Waddill married Henry Frank Duke, son of Thomas Louis Duke and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley, on 10 Feb 1909 at Pleasant Hill, Clarke Co, Alabama.

     Tommie Lou Duke was born on 21 Nov 1886 at Lower Peach Tree, Wilcox Co, Alabama. She was the daughter of Thomas Louis Duke and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley. Tommie Lou Duke married John "Johnny" Nathaniel Waddill I, son of William Edward Waddill and Euretha Mariah Walker, c 1907. Tommie Lou Duke died on 2 Dec 1968 at Jackson, Clarke Co, Alabama, at age 82.

     John "Johnny" Nathaniel Waddill I was born on 14 Feb 1884 at Walker Springs, Clarke Co, Alabama. He was the son of William Edward Waddill and Euretha Mariah Walker. John "Johnny" Nathaniel Waddill I married Tommie Lou Duke, daughter of Thomas Louis Duke and Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Kelley, c 1907. John "Johnny" Nathaniel Waddill I died on 5 Jan 1974 at Walker Springs, Clarke Co, Alabama, at age 89. He was buried at Pleasant Hill, Clarke Co, Alabama.

     William Edward Waddill was born on 16 May 1855 at Clarke Co, Alabama. He married Euretha Mariah Walker on 21 Dec 1882 at Clarke Co, Alabama. William Edward Waddill died on 10 Feb 1896 at Thomasville, Clarke Co, Alabama, at age 40.

     Gloria Ann (Unknown) married Harold "Max" Smith I, son of Andrew C. Smith and Mamie Kelly, a 1961.

     Elizabeth Smith is the daughter of Harold "Max" Smith I and Gloria Ann (Unknown).

     Carl Smith is the son of Andrew C. Smith and Mamie Kelly.

     Allen Prentiss Yelverton was born on 8 Feb 1852 at Jasper Co, Mississippi. He was the son of William Rufus Yelverton and Elizabeth "Eliza" A. Duke. Allen Prentiss Yelverton married Louisa Frances "Fannie" Gibson on 19 Dec 1871 at Jasper Co, Mississippi. Allen Prentiss Yelverton died on 21 Jun 1913 at Jasper Co, Mississippi, at age 61.
