Samuel "Sam" Felix Moses Hickey married Janie Frances Harris c 1911. Samuel "Sam" Felix Moses Hickey died on 13 Nov 1962 at Kern Co, California, at age 91.

Friedrich Wilhelm Guenther was christened on 8 Nov 1812 at Leipzig, Saxony. He married Wilhelmine Auguste Chemnitz, daughter of Johann Christoph Kemnitz and Elizabeth Richter, on 3 May 1840 at Kreuzkirche, Dresden, Sachsen (Saxony), Germany.       Friedrich Wilhelm Guenther and his wife lived at Fischhofplatz 10 in Dresden. They lived at Rosengasse 11 in Dresden when his son Gustav Emil was born and his widow Wilhelmine resided at that address after Friedrich Wilhelm's death. Eight children were identified for Friedrich based on his Rosengasse address and his profession listed on their birth certificates. Seven other children born to men with the same name in the same parish between 1842 and 1861 were eliminated as being those of our ancestor because of their fathers' addresses and professions. Therefore, the fathers' professions and addressses on the birth certificates were critical for establishing the family members of our ancestor.

Friedrich was employed by the royal family of Saxonia; until his death he served the Royal Chamber servant for Her Majesty the Queen Widow. Friedrich was noted in the Dresden City Directory as "lackey of the silver chamber," or the silver collection assistant, and as a "royal hajduk." The term hajduk was used differently in Hungary to mean a peasant irregular infantryman.

Friedrich's death record noted him as Friedrich Wilhelm Guenther from Markranstaedt, which is eight miles east of Liepzig, Germany, age 48 years, 9 months, deceased from lung disease. In 1862 Friedrich's wife Wilhelmine was listed as the Kammerlackei's widow in the city directory.
