     Nora Elizabeth Hutchinson was born on 1 Apr 1892 at Alabama. She was the daughter of George Hutchinson. Nora Elizabeth Hutchinson married John William Winslett, son of James Newton Winslett and Susanne 'Susie' Ann Peters, on 12 Feb 1911 at Talladega Co, Alabama. Nora Elizabeth Hutchinson died on 14 Oct 1942 at age 50.

     Pauline Winslett was born in 1914 at Alabama. She was the daughter of John William Winslett and Nora Elizabeth Hutchinson. Pauline Winslett married Hazel Cecil Hunnicutt a 1934. Pauline Winslett died on 5 Nov 1993.

     Edna Allen Winslett was born in 1919 at Alabama. She was the daughter of John William Winslett and Nora Elizabeth Hutchinson. Edna Allen Winslett married Harold Castleberry a 1940.

     Rex S. Winslett was born in 1914 at Alabama. He was the son of Lucious 'Luke' Lamar Winslett and Nancy Mazella "Zella" Barnett.

     Willie Ernest Winslett was born in Nov 1890 at Alabama. He was the son of William Jefferson 'Jeff' Winslett and Ella Frances 'Fannie' Hutchinson. Willie Ernest Winslett died in Jan 1967 at Myrtlewood, Alabama, at age 76.

     Katie Lee Winslett was born on 22 Nov 1886 at Alabama. She was the daughter of William Jefferson 'Jeff' Winslett and Ella Frances 'Fannie' Hutchinson. Katie Lee Winslett died on 11 May 1976 at age 89.

     John Strong was born a 1730. He was the son of George Strong.

     Walter Smith was born in Sep 1887 at Alabama. He was the son of Georgianna 'Georgia' McCollum.

     Lucy M. (Unknown) was born in Aug 1821 at South Carolina.

     Ludia Mae Weathers was born on 26 May 1945. She was the daughter of William 'Will' Albert Weathers and Addie Ladonnia Guy. Ludia Mae Weathers married Edward Wayne Grantham a 1965.

     Edward Wayne Grantham was born a 1940. He married Ludia Mae Weathers, daughter of William 'Will' Albert Weathers and Addie Ladonnia Guy, a 1965.

     Fronica Emmert was born c 1740 at Upper Hanover, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm. Fronica Emmert died in 1764 at Rockland Township, Berks Co, Pennsylvania. Her estate was probated in Feb 1764 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania.

      Fronica Emmert's probate file refers to Nicholas Moyer as a brother-in-law. Her brother George administered her estate.

     Philip Emmert was born c 1742 at Upper Hanover, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm. Philip Emmert died in 1769. He was buried in 1769 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania.

      Philip Emmert was found in Berks Co, PA records from 1764 until 1769. In the 1760s and 1770s, Philip and his younger brothers Jacob, Peter and Frederick had children christened in Berks Co, PA, many times using each other as sponsors.

     Peter Emmert was born c 1750 at Upper Hanover, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm. Peter Emmert married Fredericka Meyer c 1770 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania. Peter Emmert died b May 1777 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania.

     Fredericka Meyer was born a 1745. She married Peter Emmert, son of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm, c 1770 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania.

      Fredericka's last name has been assumed to be Meyer based on her sister-in-law Fronica Emmert's probate records stating Nicolas Meyer was Fronica's brother-in-law and because Nicholas Meyer was an administrator for Fredericka's estate.

     Jacob Emmert I was born c 1751 at Upper Hanover, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm. Jacob Emmert I married Eva Barbara Reep / Repp b 2 Aug 1772 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania. His estate was probated on 19 Apr 1819 at Hampshire Co, West Virginia. Jacob Emmert I died in 1819 at Hampshire Co, West Virginia.

      Jacob Emmert moved to Hampshire Co, VA, now WV, near the Johann Andreas Muehslagel family. Jacob was enumerated on the 1810 census for Hampshire Co as Jacob Emmitt, a white male 45 and over. Based on ages, his wife Eva, a female 45 and over also was likely living in the household. Also living with them were two males aged 10 thru 15 and two males and one female aged 16 thru 25.

At his death Jacob Emmert owned land he rented out; the rents went to his wife during her life and the land was to be sold at her death with the proceeds going to his children. Jacob decreed his personal property and bank stock be sold at his death and the proceeds equally divided among his children. He bequeathed his daughter Mary a bed, furniture, blue chest, a large transot (?), and a hundred dollars in addition to her share of his estate. Jacob died in what is now part of West Virginia and his son Jacob and his nephew Jacob Millslagle served as administrators of his estate.

Jacob used both the name Emmert and Emmart.

     Eva Barbara Reep / Repp was born a 1754. She married Jacob Emmert I, son of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm, b 2 Aug 1772 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania.

     PVT Johan Frederick Emmert was born on 11 Oct 1754 at Longswamp Township, Berks Co, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Johann Philipp Emmert and Maria Catharina Kamp / Kamm. PVT Johan Frederick Emmert married Anna Barbara Neidig b 1779 at Berks Co, Pennsylvania. PVT Johan Frederick Emmert died on 7 Jan 1829 at Sevier Co, Tennessee, at age 74.

      Johan Frederick Emmert enlisted for a three year term as a private in the Pennsylvania regiment under Colonel Anthony Wayne from Berks County. This regiment was sent to reinforce Colonel Benedict Arnold's retreating army in May, 1776. He was stationed at Fort Ticonderoga. Most likely he was in the Battle of Lake Champlain on October 11-13, 1776. Also he served in the Battle of Brandywine on Thursday, September 11, 1777 and in the Battle of Germantown on Saturday, October 4, 1777 as well as the other battles of the American Revolution. He was present at the Battle of Yorktown when Cornwallis surrendered on Friday, October 9, 1781. He received an honorable discharge for his military service in the Continental army at the close of the American Revolution. Frederick Emmert with his wife Barbara applied in Pennsylvania for a military pension that was denied for lack of sufficient proof and specificity.

Frederick was listed on the 1779 and 1780 tax lists for Rockland Township, Berks County. He was a cordwainer. He lived in Berks Co, PA until 1780. About 1782 Frederick and his wife took their family to Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia) where he was on the Hampshire Co, VA/WV tax list in 1782. From there, they migrated through the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia to Sullivan Co, Tennessee and then moved on to Greene Co, TN On 12 July 1792 Frederick bought 200 acres on Sinking Creek, apparently in Greene Co, for 30£ from John Peeble; he later sold this tract to Jacob Hise for 100£. Frederick and his wife migrated to Sevier Co, TN sometime in the latter part of 1795 where he again purchased land.

Leila Ophelia Strong married John Simeon Martin on 22 Dec 1901 at Clay Co, Alabama. Leila Ophelia Strong died on 12 Nov 1965 at Somerville, Morgan Co, Alabama, at age 85.

     John Simeon Martin was born on 2 Jan 1874 at Tallapoosa Co, Alabama. He married Leila Ophelia Strong, daughter of William Lemuel "Lem" Strong and Mary Emma Peters, on 22 Dec 1901 at Clay Co, Alabama. John Simeon Martin died at Elkmont, Limestone Co, Alabama.

     (Unknown) Stapleton was born a 1903. He married Olga Franchelle Hatley, daughter of Marvin Thomas Hatley and Octavia Strong, a 1933.
