     Nancy (Unknown) was born in 1825 at Arkansas. She married William McElhaney, son of Henry McElhaney and Milley (Unknown), a 1845.

     Joseph C. Bowen was born c 1818 at Tennessee. He was the son of William B. Bowen and (1st wife of Wm B. Bowen) (Unknown). Joseph C. Bowen married Mahaly (Unknown) a 1838.

      Joseph C. Bowen and his wife Mahaly were living with Mary Robinson age 12 and James Smith age 8, both born in Arkansas, in Bowen, Madison Co, AR in 1850. Joseph was farming his land valued at 800.

     Mahaly (Unknown) was born in 1818 at Tennessee. She married Joseph C. Bowen, son of William B. Bowen and (1st wife of Wm B. Bowen) (Unknown), a 1838.

     John W. Bowen was born c 1816 at Tennessee. He was the son of William B. Bowen and (1st wife of Wm B. Bowen) (Unknown).

     Margaret (Unknown) was born in 1822 at Tennessee. She married John S. McElhaney, son of William McElhaney I and Elizabeth Ledbetter, a 1842.

     SGT Theodore Hugh Adams was born in 1843 at Tennessee. He was the son of Lysander Adams and Lydia (Unknown). SGT Theodore Hugh Adams married Emily "Emma" Artimery Ashley, daughter of Uriah J. Ashley and Mary "Polly" Ann Robinson, on 14 Nov 1883 at McKinney, Collin Co, Texas. SGT Theodore Hugh Adams died on 1 Jul 1924 at Falls Co, Texas.

      Theodore Hugh Adams served with Union forces in both companies M and A, 6th Regiment, Indiana Cavalry. He served under General Forrest.
