     Mary Osbourne was born a 1720. She married John King a 1740. Mary Osbourne died in 1790.

     Hannah King was born a 1745. She was the daughter of John King and Mary Osbourne. Hannah King married Henry Talbot I on 18 Sep 1765. Hannah King died in 1781.

     Henry Talbot I was born c 1745 at England. He immigrated c 1758 to Virginia. He married Hannah King, daughter of John King and Mary Osbourne, on 18 Sep 1765. Henry Talbot I married Barbara Remy Whaley, daughter of James Whaley II and Lydia Ann Ramey, in 1782 at Loudoun Co, Virginia. Henry Talbot I died in 1819 at Bourbon Co, Kentucky.

      The Talbot (Talbott/Talbert) family is one of the oldest in America and England. The founders of the family in England came to that country from Normandy with William the Conqueror. A now extinct early English blood hound was called the talbot. The Talbot family possessed several coats of arms. Virginia and Maryland patents show that many Talbots came from England to the colonies in colonial days.

Henry Talbot came to Virginia about 1758. There are two accounts of his experiences; one account in the Family Memoirs of James McClain Mullenix states that he was kidnapped in England, brought to America, and bound to a Virginia planter. Bourbon Co, Ky records state that Henry ran away from England when about thirteen years old and came to Virginia. However he arrived, he spent his early manhood in Loudoun Co, Va. It is unclear whether he was related to Lt Isham Talbot of Bourbon Co who was the son of Matthew Talbot and the grandson of Lord Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, England.

Henry took the Revolutionary War oath of allegiance in Montgomery Co, Md and donated 400 pounds of beef to the war cause in 1781. The 1782 tax report shows Henry with children under sixteen years of age, five slaves, seven horses, and twenty-two cattle. He is proven in the NSDAR under national number 403073.

     Hugh Talbot II was born c 1766 at Loudoun Co, Virginia. He was the son of Henry Talbot I and Hannah King. Hugh Talbot II married Susanna Carter a 1791. Hugh Talbot II died in 1833 at Bourbon Co, Kentucky.

     Susanna Carter was born a 1771. She married Hugh Talbot II, son of Henry Talbot I and Hannah King, a 1791.

     Robert Elzy Riggs was born on 2 Aug 1882 at Texas. He married Nannie Weathers, daughter of PVT Andrew Jackson "John" Weathers and Mary Ann Scarborough, on 30 Jun 1903 at Milam Co, Texas. Robert Elzy Riggs died on 26 Oct 1961 at Terrell, Kaufman Co, Texas, at age 79.

     Sophia Riggs was born c 1905 at Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Elzy Riggs and Nannie Weathers.

     Milford Silvanus Riggs was born c 1907 at Texas. He was the son of Robert Elzy Riggs and Nannie Weathers.

     Mary Lucille Riggs was born on 26 Sep 1911 at Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Elzy Riggs and Nannie Weathers. Mary Lucille Riggs married Earl Archer a 1935. Mary Lucille Riggs died on 20 Nov 1967 at Terrell, Kaufman Co, Texas, at age 56.

     Iva Riggs is the daughter of Robert Elzy Riggs and Nannie Weathers.

     Earl Archer was born c 1901. He married Mary Lucille Riggs, daughter of Robert Elzy Riggs and Nannie Weathers, a 1935.

     Mack Archer is the son of Earl Archer and Mary Lucille Riggs.
